Some fics are like Wal-Mart - Affordable, accessible and with a little something for everyone.
Other fics are high-end boutiques, or kitschy thrift stores, or hipster hideaways in the historic parts of town. You may not attract she sheer number that Wal-Mart fics do, but that does not make your fic any less beautiful or valuable or beloved by its clientele.
